Overview
Registered in 2004 as a sport of *Hosta* 'Seducer', 'Good Golly Miss Molly' is a large cultivar distinguished by its broad, blue-green leaves with white margins and unstable streaks of yellow and white. The leaf surface is slightly shiny above with a glaucous bloom beneath, and the margins are moderately wavy and corrugated.
In the Garden
This cultivar forms a substantial, mound-like clump reaching 36 inches (91.4 cm) in height and 26 inches (66.0 cm) in diameter. It performs best in partial to full shade, typical of most hostas, and its large, textured leaves make it a strong specimen plant for woodland borders or shaded foundation beds. The tall scapes, ranging from 32 to 46 inches (81.3 to 116.8 cm), support lavender flowers in midsummer.
Care Notes
Provide consistent moisture, especially during dry periods, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Like many large-leaved hostas, it is susceptible to slug damage and deer browsing.
