Overview
Registered in 1982 by P. Aden, this large cultivar is a hybrid of *Hosta* 'Fragrant Bouquet'. It forms a dense, mounding clump of blue-green leaves with streaked margins, reaching 18 inches (45.7 cm) in height and 26 inches (66.0 cm) in diameter. The leaves are 10 inches (25.4 cm) long and 7 inches (17.8 cm) wide, with ten pairs of veins.
In the Garden
This cultivar performs best in partial to full shade, typical for blue-leaved hostas, and reaches a mature size of roughly 1.5 feet tall by 2 feet wide. It is suitable for mid-border positions, woodland gardens, or as a specimen in shaded beds. Companion plants include ferns, *Heuchera*, and *Astilbe*.
Care Notes
Provide consistent moisture, especially during dry periods, and apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Like many large-leaved hostas, it is susceptible to slug and deer damage; monitor regularly and apply controls as needed.
