Overview
Registered in 2006 by P. Ruh as a sport of *Hosta* 'June', 'Endless Summer' is a medium-sized hosta distinguished by its green leaves with greenish-yellow, slightly rippled gold margins. The ovate, lightly cupped leaves have a moderately folded and corrugated texture, with a slightly shiny upper surface and dull underside.
In the Garden
'Endless Summer' reaches approximately 12 inches (30.5 cm) in height with a spread of 20 inches (50.8 cm), forming an upright mound suited to partial to full shade in typical hosta-growing zones. Its medium size and variegated foliage pair well with ferns, astilbes, and other shade-tolerant perennials. The yellow-green scapes rise to 19.5 inches (49.5 cm), bearing lavender flowers in midsummer.
Care Notes
Provide consistent moisture during the growing season, applying a balanced fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. As with most hostas, slug and deer damage may occur and should be managed through cultural or physical controls.
