Overview

Registered in 2004, this small hosta cultivar is a hybrid of *Hosta* 'Little Wonder' (as pod parent) and *Hosta* 'Blue Moon' (as pollen parent). Its most distinctive visual feature is the combination of medium blue-green leaves with broad, creamy white margins that are slightly rippled, set against a compact, mound-like habit.

In the Garden

'Con Te Partiro' reaches approximately 8 inches (20.3 cm) in height and 24 inches (61.0 cm) in diameter, forming a dense mound with moderate growth. It performs best in partial to full shade, as is typical for blue-leaved hostas, where the glaucous bloom on its leaves remains most pronounced. Its small size makes it suitable for rock gardens, troughs, or the front of shaded borders, where it can be paired with fine-textured shade perennials such as ferns or *Heuchera*.

Care Notes

Water regularly during dry periods to maintain consistent soil moisture; apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. The thick, glaucous leaves offer moderate resistance to slugs, though standard preventative measures are advisable in damp conditions.
