Overview
Registered in 2002, this medium-sized sport was selected for its striking spring coloration, featuring pale yellow leaves with medium green margins that may exhibit streaking toward the center. The ovate, moderately corrugated foliage reaches 7 inches (17.8 cm) in length and 5 inches (12.7 cm) in width, with 6 to 8 vein pairs and flat margins.
In the Garden
Forming a mound-like clump 12.5 inches (31.8 cm) tall and 21.5 inches (54.6 cm) in diameter, this cultivar performs best in partial to dappled shade with moderate growth rate. Its pale green scapes rise 15.5 to 19.5 inches (39.4 to 49.5 cm) above the foliage. The showy, bright spring leaves provide contrast when paired with darker-leaved perennials such as ferns or *Heuchera*.
Care Notes
Provide consistent moisture during dry periods; apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Standard hosta pest precautions apply, including slug and deer management in susceptible areas.
