Overview
Registered in 2006 as a sport of *Hosta* 'Striptease', this medium-sized cultivar is distinguished by its bright yellow leaf centers with medium green, flat margins of irregular width. The leaves are cordate, lightly corrugated, and measure up to 22.1 cm long by 15.0 cm wide, with nine to ten vein pairs; the plant forms a dense, fast-growing mound reaching approximately 100 cm in diameter and 48 cm in height.
In the Garden
Best suited to partial to full shade, where the yellow centers remain brightest; in deeper shade the centers may become chartreuse. The vigorous, mound-forming habit makes it an effective groundcover or specimen in woodland borders and shade gardens. It pairs well with ferns, *Heuchera*, and other shade-tolerant perennials; its medium size suits mid-border positions.
Care Notes
Provide consistent moisture during the growing season; apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. Slugs and deer may damage foliage, so monitor and manage as needed in typical hosta-growing zones.
