Overview
Registered in 2011, *Hosta* 'Tennessee Grady' is a miniature cultivar of unknown parentage. It is visually distinctive for its narrow, lance-shaped green leaves with flat, streaked yellow margins and thin yellow streaks that extend from the leaf base to the tip.
In the Garden
With a mature spread of approximately 7 inches (17.8 cm) and height of 6 inches (15.2 cm), 'Tennessee Grady' is well suited to the front of a shade border, rock garden, or trough garden. Its upright growth habit and small size make it an excellent candidate for container cultivation. It pairs well with other miniature hostas, small ferns, or fine-textured groundcovers in dappled to full shade.
Care Notes
Provide consistent moisture and apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring as new growth emerges. As with most hostas, protect from slugs and deer, which may damage the narrow foliage.
