Hosta "Summer Rainbow" review
Wide margined sport. This one originated from a streaked Hosta 'Winter Snow' found at Hallson Gardens and was developed by Dave Bowe (Dr. Dave) who isolated this stable beauty. It went into TC in 2010. It is a sport of 'Winter Snow' with a dark green center but we think it will become one of the largest sports in the 'Sum and Substance' family with so much dark green in it. The margins are also nicely wide, much like the original 'Winter Snow's that came out of Winterberry Farms years ago.
