Hosta "Stained Glass" review
The bush looks like a dense dome. This variety grows well not only in penumbra, but also under the bright sun. The growing is pretty fast. The leaves are yellow-golden and heart-shaped (with a dark green border). Flowers are pale lavender, fragrant. The cold resistance of the plant is high (zone 4). Grows better in moist but well-drained soils, that are rich for the organics. In a dry period, you need to water the hosta regularly. What is more, it is good to mulch the soil to save the moisture. Hosta Stained Glass is used to create borders, for single or group plantings on lawns. Also it is frequently planted near the water. The leaves are widely used for the preparation of bouquets and for arrangements.
