Hosta "Radiant Star" review
'Radiant Star' is a dark-centered sport of 'Radiant Edger' which was found at Hallson's about 5 years ago. Quoting Chris, "'Radiant Edger' has a pale green center that becomes medium green towards the end of the year, but the center of 'Radiant Star' is dark green, even a little blue-green in early summer." A mature clump of 'Radiant Star' should eventually reach the same size as 'Radiant Edger' - about 14" high x 35" wide. 'Radiant Star' went into t/c in 2007, the same year it was registered.
