Hosta "Platinum Tiara" review
Distinguished Merit Award 1989 (Eldren Minks). Small, round, light gold leaves edged with white. This is a gorgeous plant. Medium lavender flowers in June. Heart shaped chartreuse leaves with variable white margins, mostly narrow. Purple striped flowers. Gold color with white border. Very nice. Chartreuse-green leaves with a narrow white margin; purple flowers. White margined sport of 'Golden Scepter'. The small, roundish leaf is a pale green gold with a white edge and some light streaking throughout. Deep lavender flowers. A 'Tiara Series' Hosta. Sport of Hosta 'Golden Tiara' with gold coloration like that of Hosta 'Golden Scepter' but ribboned with a white border. Flower is the same dark lavender streaked white. Blooms in mid-summer on 26" scapes. Charming form, this one is gold with white margins. Lavender flowers.
