Lakeside Chatterbox

Hosta "Lakeside Chatterbox" review

Hosta 'Lakeside Chatterbox' was so named because its ruffled golden leaves appears to be chattering in a spring breeze. The small, spreading clump increases rapidly to form a mature plant that can bring color and variety to the border or rock garden. It is an 1998 introduction. The parentage is Hosta "seedling" x Hosta 'Lakeside Little Gem'. The leaves are ovate with a cordate base [MC]. Delightfully scalloped, heart shaped, chartreuse leaves form a compact low growing clump.
