Journey's End

Hosta "Journey's End" review

PP16895 (25/7/2006). It's always great when a really good hosta becomes even better. Such is the case with Hosta 'Journey's End', a sport from our 1999 release, Hosta 'Choo Choo Train'. The huge pointed and heavily ruffled leaves are bright gold, surrounded by a wide dark green border. Each 4.5' wide clump is topped in summer with 3' spikes of near white flowers...a splendid specimen hosta. Multiple award winner at two American Hosta Society National Conventions! Large, heart shaped leaves have gently ruffled edges and form a very wide clump. Leaves are yellow-gold with wide, dark green margins, and multiple shades of green jetting into the center. Pale lavender flowers are produced in midsummer. Makes an excellent specimen.
