Hosta "Celebrity" review

Nearly round, dark green leaf with a wide gold edge. The edge darts toward the center and overlaps the green. Some crinkling adds to the excellent substance. Rare collector plant. Deep winter green leaves with butter cream edges are heavily corregated and rugose. This is a hybrid cross of Lachman's breeder, bbf6 x Frances Williams. Get a better look at the plant on the back cover of Vol 31 1999 Registration of The Hosta Journal. Another Lachman classic offering sharply contrasting variegation and a large mound size.
