Hosta "Cascades" review
Elongated leaves, with dramatic, large white centers, the green streaking into the white; slightly shiny, upright, and cascading. I haven't been able to get this hosta out of my mind since it won the awards at one of the Hosta Society national conventions. Hosta 'Cascades' is one of the finest introductions from the Lachman's breeding program. The tapered leaves to 1' long have a wide white center and a dark green border. The arching clumps to 26" wide make a spectacular statement in the garden. In late spring, the 3' scapes of pure white flowers top the clump.
