Hosta "Athletic Event" review
This is a natural sport of 'Kiwi Cream Edge'. 'Athletic Event' is more robust than the original. The color of the very wide center part of the leaf is a bright mint green. The well defined edge is a nice cloudy white in the summer. The leaf is a narrow round ended elliptic leaf with between 6 and 8 vein pairs with most having 7. 'Athletic Event' is slightly rhizomatous.
