This hosta is a one of a kind! Here we have the ‘Curly Fries’ Hosta, proud winner of the American Hosta Growers’ Association Hosta of the Year 2016.
‘Curly Fries’ is perfect for tucking into small spots or for growing in containers and contrasts nicely with blue varieties. This hosta forms an arching, wiggly clump of extremely rippled, narrow leaves that emerge chartreuse and brighten to yellow. Lavender flowers are found topping this clumps come midsummer.
Mature plant size produces clumps of 4-6 inches in height and spread 14-16 inches across and will develop red speckled petioles. ‘Curly Fries’ thrive in conditions of part sun to light shade.
