Blue Boy

Hosta "Blue Boy" review

Small, glaucous blue/green leaves. Pale lavender flowers. Multiples well. Very late coming up in spring. Vigorous medium sized dark blue. Border type. Forms a low, medium size mound of heart-shaped blue-green leaves, flat with wavy edges. Lavender flowers. A hybrid of David Stone. Low growing mound with small blue-green leaves. White flowers. A good grower. Small blue-gray heart shaped leaves (5"x4") form a neat mound. The thin substance of these leaves gives them a delicate and graceful appearance. Mid-summer blooms compliment the dark leaf color. Great in a semi-shady border. 14"x20". Blooms white. Shade to 1/2 sun. Growth rapid. Small blue leaves, multiplies well, 1st hosta of Daved Stone to be registered. Ideal for small gardens, with pale lavendar flowers.
